His recommendation for local dining was spot on, and I really appreciated the cozy setup of the common area for breakfast. The breakfast choices were somewhat limited in variety.

Near Stirling. We got very good advices about eating (a nearby inn) and how to travel on.
It was rather hard to find it.

Good or Bad? Let me explain
Our host was genuinely friendly and offered insightful recommendations on local attractions. Breakfast was made fresh, and we loved the cozy environment, which allowed guests to share experiences at a communal table.
The parking situation can get tight during busy times, and noise from neighboring rooms occasionally interrupted our peace, making it challenging to relax after a long day of exploring.

The breakfast was good and the owner was really helpful.
The room was small with dated carpets and the shower cubicle was in need of upgrade / redecoration.

The gentleman who owns/runs it was interesting, warm and helpful, he recommended a lovely pub for evening meals. The room overlooked a field of cows, was warm and quiet.
The en-suite shower was very poor, more of a dribble, and the plaster work around the bathroom door was not finished.
